A Family Volunteer Weekend for the Mary, Queen of the Apostles (MQOA) parish (www.mqoa.org) and the Notre Dame Club of Greater Boston will be held on Veterans Day weekend, Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12.

We have arranged opportunities for the MQOA parishioners and NDCGB members to volunteer - as a group and with our families and friends - with local non-profits who serve the poor, disabled, elderly, and veterans in the Greater Salem area.

​

Each volunteer event is about a 2-4 hour commitment on either Friday or Saturday, and will be for a group of 3 to 10 or more people. You can sign up for multiple events, if you'd like.  This is a great opportunity to invite a friend or family member to an MQOA or NDCGB event!

We already have enough events to support 100 or more volunteers for the Salem Pantry, My Brother's Table, LifeBridge, Citizens Inn, Northeast ARC, Plummer House, the City of Salem, St. Vincent de Paul, and others!

On Saturday, after we are all done volunteering, we will have Mass at 4:30pm at St. James church. A dinner (for volunteers) will be held at 5:30pm at St. James hall. At dinner, a member from each family is invited to share a reflection about the weekend experience.
